About the Winery
Since 1955, the Snowden family has been a loyal steward of their beautiful, secluded ranch, producing classically styled, terroir-driven wines that reflect the unique heritage and character of their site. With a grape-growing history dating back to 1878, the 160-acre homestead has evolved into a place where four generations have had the privilege of walking the woods and vineyards, cherishing their connection to the land. Situated on the eastern slopes of the Napa Valley, Snowden Vineyards is located at the confluence of multiple appellations, where 23 acres of vineyards are carefully tended amidst hidden valleys and gentle hillsides. Guided by winemaker Diana Snowden Seysses from the family’s third generation of winegrowers, the Snowdens are committed to preserving the natural environment, utilizing organic farming practices and minimizing intervention in the cellar to ensure their wines authentically reflect terroir, vintage and variety. Their elegant and balanced wines are a testament to the legacy of the family’s dedication to this remarkable place.
